Sell your children’s clothes and toys without doing the work

How does selling with Little Split P work?

Bring in a bag of good quality children's gear and we sell it for you, splitting the proceeds 50/50*. You get paid at the start of the following month, straight to your bank account. *Larger consignments are split 55/45 with you receiving 45%.

What we do accept

Nearly anything a child or parent would use in their daily life. Clothing must be in season, from brands we’re able to sell, and in great condition. Toys must have all their pieces.

  • Children’s clothing up to size 12
  • Shoes up to women's size 6US
  • Labelled maternity wear
  • 100% merino items
  • Books, from baby through to preteen
  • Toys and games
  • Nursery furniture
  • Highchairs
  • Baths
  • Sleep sacks
  • Cloth nappies
  • Bibs
  • Prams, bassinets, cots and travel cots (by prior agreement)

Brands we take include Shnuggle, Stokke, Mum2Mum, Love to Dream, Ergobaby, Woolbabe, Merino Kids, Addison, Bae The Label, Bonds, Jamie Kay, Bear + Moo, Aden + Anais, Nature Baby, Country Road, Rock Your Kid, Band of Boys, Bobux, Adidas and Puma. Contact us if you’re not sure.

Everything must be clean, complete and worth at least $5. We don’t accept dirty, broken, outdated or incomplete items.

What we don't accept

Due to very small margins, brands we generally don’t sell include The Warehouse, Kmart, Postie, TnT, Teeny Weeny and Pumpkin Patch. The same goes for international clothing brands without a well-known presence in New Zealand.

If you have good-quality items from these brands that you’d like to pass on, please still bring them in. We can sell them as donated goods, with the proceeds going to local family-oriented non-profit organisations.

Items we can’t accept

  • Wi-fi baby monitors and breathing monitors
  • Pedal bikes
  • Battery-operated toys without working batteries and a screw-on battery cover
  • Clothing that’s out of season, dirty, stained or damaged
  • Toys with broken or missing parts
How much can I bring at once?

One bag per drop-off, at the standard 50/50 split. If you have more than that, or something large like a cot or pram, please contact us first so we can make a plan. Larger consignments are split 55/45, with you receiving 45%.

Bringing a large item without checking first risks it being turned away if we don’t have space.

When do I get paid?

At the start of the month after your items sell, paid directly into your nominated bank account.

What happens to anything that doesn't sell?

When you drop off items, you can choose to donate or collect anything we can’t accept, or that doesn’t sell after its time on the shop floor. If you choose to collect, we’ll let you know when it’s ready and you’ll have 7 days from that notification to pick it up. Anything not collected after that is treated as donated.

Open Tuesday to Saturday, 9am to 4pm, at 540 Victoria Street. Contact us if you have something large or a lot of it.
